Advanced Student Programs

Festival StringsFor advanced students aged 14+ that have played violin, viola, cello or bass for at least 3 years and want to improve their skills as soloists, chamber musicians and orchestra musicians.

Advanced PianoFor advanced students aged 15+ who want to improve their pianistic skills, explore traditional and new repertoire as well as engage in new musical activities such as vocal accompaniment and chamber music.

Camp BroadwayFor advanced students aged 15 and up with an affinity for musicals and aspirations to acquire on-stage experience and performance opportunities.

For students 16+. Admission by live or video audition only. This is a full-day program that includes private lessons, masterclasses and group lessons focusing on vocal technique, primary languages (Italian, English, French and German) and solo, duet and ensemble singing. There will also be guided listening of the great singers and repertoire of opera, art song and oratorio. Taught by Ira Spaulding, City College of New York

The composition program will be offered for young and young professional composers and arrangers with an interest in improving their skills and knowledge in composition, arranging, orchestration and contemporary music literature of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Cultural Entrepreneurship Program will be a daily seminar designed to help you grow as a professional artist, social entrepreneur and community leader.
